Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year!
9th Grade Phy. Ed and Health
The freshmen physical education curriculum will consist of the following activities; tennis, ultimate frisbee, swimming/pool activities, flag football, soccer, volleyball, dance, floor hockey, badminton, pickle ball, archery, basketball, bowling and golf. Health Education will cover 4 - 6 body systems, body composition and a project based disease unit. An emphasis on developing lifelong fitness will be incorporated into our weekly units with weight training and personal fitness sessions one to two days per week.
Elementary Phy. Ed.
Play Hard. Play Fair. Play Safe. Have Fun!
Students participating in elementary physical education classes will be introduced to a variety of activities that promote fitness and skill development. We will continue with 'Fitness A Days' and also use 'Game Certificates' to reward classes working 'Above the Line'. |
