Greetings! Welcome to my blog page. This is where you can find the weekly lesson plans for my classes and maybe some current pictures if I get around to them. This is my 11th year teaching in the Moberly district and my 25th year of teaching total. I thoroughly enjoy teaching Biology and I have a wonderful department that I get to work with daily. I love to instill an appreciation for the study of life to my students. I especially enjoy the plant unit, since I have a real passion for plants. Can you identify the kingdom that is represented in my picture at the right? I've been a widow since 1993, I have 4 wonderful children, 2 with spouses & 5 grandchildren which bring me great JOY!

Biology is a college-prepatory class for the life science credit. The study of life involves: cell parts & functions, ecology, classification, organisms structures & functions---involving lab work & dissection. This would prepare a student for Biology 2 or Human Anatomy.

The Biology resource link is a great asset and should be used often.

Chemistry 1 is a course designed to instruct the students on the basic concepts found in the areas of Chemistry. Some laboratory and hands-on activities are included. The concepts are presented and students will be asked to apply that information on assessments.
