20th Century Studies II (11th grade)
Modern U.S. and world history from World War II through the present.
20th Century Studies I (9th Grade)
TCS 1 is the 9th social science course at McNary High School. The class covers both U.S. and world history. During the first semester students will learn about the Industrial Revolution, Progressivism, Imperialism, and World War I. The second semester covers the decades of the 1920s, 1930s, and the 1940s. Students will resume this course again their junior year with TCS 2 covering world and U.S. history from the 1940s up to the present.
