Sketchbook
Sketchbook #1: Draw a shoe, tool, bird or tree showing texture. Texture is how something feels or looks like it may feel. Remember to use the entire page and "go off" the page.

Due Date: Thursday, August 27, 2009

Sketchbook #2: Draw what you see when you look out your bedroom window. Include the window. Remember to use the entire page and "go off" the page. If you do not have a window in your bedroom, draw what you see from any window at home.

Sketchbook # 3
Draw a place you would like to visit. In your landscape be sure to include a background, middleground and foreground. Remember to "go off" the page and use the entire page.

Sketchbook #4
Find 5 personal items and group them together in a "still-life". Items need to overlap or touch. Angle items to where they appear 3-dimensional and not flat. Make sure to use the entire page and "go off" the page.

Sketchbook #5

Make a detailed drawing of your hand (do not trace your hand - draw what you see) holding something interesting. Use the entire page and remember to go off the page to make your drawing interesting.
