This is an introduction to Economics. By the end of this course, you should have a good understanding of the principles of economics. Through these basic principles, you should be able to understand and assess articles in the media that refer to either microeconomics or macroeconomics.

This is an introductory course in macroeconomic principles covering basic economic problems and concepts; Topics discussed and analyzed include the role of government in various economic systems, aggregate measures of economic performance, aspects of economic instability, macro equilibrium, fiscal and monetary policies, and the impact of both the public debt and international trade.
