My name is Holly Ames. I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pa and Ohio. I went to school in Bowling Green, Ohio and moved to Texas a few years afterwards. I've taught 3rd grade, 1st grade, and have been teaching Kindergarten for the past 11 years! Every day is an adventure in Kindergarten. You never know what you're going to discover!
I have 24 students this year. Each one has a unique personality that helps make every year different from the next.
The kids work hard on learning letter sounds to help them discover the wonderful world of reading! They learn the basics of math, the discovery of science, and social studies along with making new friends and being part of a "big" school!
